Turn Together Foundation (TTF) recognizes the interdependence of the individual and their families, caregivers, and community. Our foundation serves as the catalyst for creating inclusive community design, housing, recreation, and services, leading to a more fulfilling life for our heroes. TTF is a program of empowerment, providing an avenue for linking seniors, veterans and first responders with housing, careers, beneficial services, existing programs, and funding to offset the costs of these services and the cost of home ownership. We enable our heroes and their families to begin and continue the process of self-actualization.
We Address Many Aspects of Well-being
Trauma is prevalent among veterans due to the nature of their work. We can help. Through guided conversations and other forms of self-expression, we enable our heroes to redirect the power of trauma, improve self-reliance, and challenge loneliness.
Many of our heroes experience a similar cycle:
Dependence on governments or other institutions for medical and financial support
Reliance on a close-knit, community-based society
Alienated upon reintegration into regular society
Loss of support system (tribe)
Loss of purpose in life
Turn Together targets each element of this pattern, creating social and financial stability, ultimately helping our heroes rediscover a sense of purpose and begin thriving again.
