Crafting Communities; Rebuilding Lives

Turn Together Foundation (TTF) is a program of empowerment that provides an avenue for linking veterans and first responders with mobile, transitional, and long-term mixed-use housing, careers, beneficial services, existing programs, and funding to offset the costs of these services and the cost of home ownership. TTF recognizes the interdependence of the individual and their families, caregivers, and community. TTF acts as the catalyst for creating inclusive community design, housing, recreation, and services to enhance the social structure needed by individuals and groups to lead a more fulfilling life.

What We Offer Our Heroes:

Stability

Many Americans are aware of the staggering proportion of veterans within our homeless population. We offer programs that enable veterans to establish permanent, temporary, or mobile housing suited to their needs. In addition to housing solutions, we work with community agencies to provide financial support as needed.

Comradery and Community

Veterans and first responders will have access to a community of individuals who have similar experiences and circumstances. On-site establishments will provide opportunities for recreation, dining, and other activities in a social atmosphere. Designed as an alternative to isolation, our community accommodates individuals, pairs, families, and large groups.

Improved Mental Wellbeing

We facilitate therapeutic hobbies, such as gardening, that bolster an individual’s sense of purpose, industry, and self-reliance. These activities can be performed individually or in groups. Participants directly contribute to the quality of life for community members, whether it be through food production, performing or visual art, or the creation of functional items.

Skills Training

After dedicating years to a cause and repeatedly risking their lives for it, veterans and first responders often struggle to find a fitting career change. For individuals experiencing any number of mental or physical limitations, learning a trade may feel like an impossible task. TTF works with community partners to help veterans and other individuals learn skills and trades that will lead them toward self-reliance and an improved sense of purpose.

Eagerly Assisting Veterans and First Responders

TTF is continually seeking new programs and partnerships in order to better serve our heroes. As our resources expand, we will be able to offer extended services for seniors, care givers, veterans and first responders.
